History of Nahargarh Biological Park
Nahargarh Biological Park used to be a forest earlier. It was situated in the middle of the Aravalli mountain range. The number of tigers in that forest was very high. With the passage of time, the number of tigers was decreasing at a rapid pace. In 1980, the government declared the forest as “Nahargarh Wildlife Sanctuary” in view of the declining number of tigers after independence. Due to the absence of animals, the Wildlife Sanctuary seemed quite a listen.
That is, according to the area of this wildlife sanctuary, the number of animals in it had become negligible. And on the other hand, animals were dying due to not getting enough space in the zoo of Jaipur. So the government brought the animals of Jaipur Zoo to Nahargarh Wildlife Sanctuary in 2016. Since then, this biological park is counted in the list of the most prominent tourist places of Jaipur.
