It was spreading rapidly throughout the city. At that time the Guru had helped the poor and the sick by taking water from the well. And with his help, the hearts of those affected were greatly relieved. But unfortunately Guru Har Krishna also got infected with this disease and he too fell ill.

Guru Har Krishna died on 30 March 1664 due to this disease. After that Raja Jai ​​Singh later built a tank over the well. From where the Guru had drawn water. And till date tank water is considered very beneficial. And it is said that it relieves from disease. The water in this tank is considered as “nectar”. Thousands of Sikhs and travelers who come here take this water with them home.

Later from here one can take an auto-rickshaw to reach the Gurudwara. Patel Chowk Metro Station is the nearest metro station to the Gurudwara on the Yellow Line. It is situated at a distance of 2 km.
